The team here at Geelong Concrete Pumping take pride in listening to our clients’ project demands so we can do our best to deliver with quality, service and with safety at the heart of everything we do.
High rise concrete pumping is the most timely and cost effective way to pump concrete on any high rise project. The effectiveness with which these concrete pumps can be installed, move up with the building as it goes through the floor stages, and mitigate the excessive man hours required over other conventional concrete placing methods, should make this an easy decision when deciding what will work best for you.
The intricacies with high rise concrete pumping are one that we fully understand. More importantly we value working with our clients to ensure they are meeting the timely demands of their project. This is a strength of ours that jointly we like to work towards with all our clients. Our crew of operators, line hands and hose men come well prepared, educated, and inducted through all the necessary on-site requirements. Our recent experience of working large projects like these are:
Geelong Concrete Pumping has two high rise concrete pumps, both of which you can find more information on here. With over 65 years of combined experience, the Geelong Concrete Pumping team can service any project you need, and now with two brand-new high-rise pumps. The two models of pump can access even the most difficult of sites and provide top quality service.
These high-rise concrete placing booms come from the KT series at CIFA and are easy to assemble and use. With easy and quick delivery on a truck, and with safe assembly and placement, the boom can arrive on site with no delay on schedules. The booms also have a self-contained electric-over-hydraulic tower jacking system which are fitted with either an elevator shaft or a floor opening frame. This provides easy access for operators and on-site workers once the boom is assembled and ready to use.
The PB33A-4ZC placing boom has 4Z folding arms that create a horizontal reach of 33 metres. This allows operators to cover a larger square meterage of the site and spread concrete at the press of a button and with ease. The remote control for operator use is a lightweight design without any bulky buttons so they aren’t carrying a control panel around the site that weighs a tonne. It provides control of the main boom arm and the main functions of the machinery.
The PB36A-4ZC has a similar assembly system to the 33A with its lightweight design and with a 4Z folding arm structure. This model, however, has a greater horizontal reach at 36 metres and unlike the 33A’s reach depth of 19.2 metres, it has a reach depth of 23.7 metres.
Both these placing booms have been reviewed as some of the safest to use, with easy assembly and no hidden extras.
The team at Geelong Concrete Pumping have had the opportunity to become acquainted with the placing booms alongside their pumps and have become experts with their use. If anyone is the right choice for your project in Melbourne and surrounding Victoria, they are!
With their combined experience, they’re old hands at concrete pumping and are ready to use these placing booms on your next project.
